Cost: There.com costs $9.95 once for life as opposed to $4.95 per month in vMTV.
Design Posibilities: In There.com, you can design your own hand-held props. Our designers have used these to make hats, jewelry, cups, special costumes such as snowmen and teddy bears, and vehicle extensions to make really cool-looking race cars. Our designers can also make custom models for bikes, hoverboats, hoverboards, hoverpacks in addition to knickknacks for decor and structures for scenic objects. Don't forget the wide variety of clothing designs possible as well.
Vehicles: In addition to TUVs and buggys, There.com has hoverboats, hoverbikes, hoverpacks. We also have Action Mode that will allow you to steer with mouse in buggies and do hoverboard tricks more easily.
Make up: Our avatars are built a bit differently in There.com. This allows us to use 'make up' to change the color of lips, eyebrows, facial hair.
Documents: In There.com, you can purchase and edit documents such as scrolls, books, brochures. Some documents have the ability to add a URL link.
Events/Activities: We have stages that allow game events such as Trivia. We also have Gin and Hearts tables in addition to Spades tables.
Housing:
We have a number of fixed There houses and clubhouses which function as mini fun zones. We also have Paz communities that the vMTV members are familiar with. In addition, we have a third option, becoming a member of a neighborhood. To compare the housing options, read this article.

The User Interface:
Our IM boxes are semi-transparent, and we can use them to invite members to the IM, add to buddies, or ignore.
Many of the menu options are the same, but may be found in different spots. Explore the UI to discover these differences.
We may have some abilities to customize that you did not have in vMTV. For example, we can opt out of getting system pop ups for event invitations and when buddies log in and out. We can also choose to see some all or none of the member nametags around us. Please explore your UI to find these customization options.
Exploration:
There.com encourages exploration all over our world. We have a number of populated islands easily found using your map. Our members are known for their passion for exploring, and many can point you to such geographical oddities as the North Pole, the Drain, and 'the crack.'
Our Islands
Caldera: Our first and primary island. It is the location for many neighborhoods, and landmarks such as Nene Volcano, the enigmatic Monkey Crater, and the funzones of Dune Valley.
Ootay: Island number two! Home of neighborhoods, mysterious Maidenflight, and landmarks such as Crab Rock and the Burned Lighthouse. Also contains funzones, including the Bali Hai club.
Nada: Just off Ootay and not far from Tropical Adventures amusement park.
Cangrejo: Full of funzones for racing, partying, and playing cards.
Motu Motu: Home for houses, clubhouses, and member-owned neighborhoods. Contains many special frontier zones.
The Malihinis: Home of the Gathering Tree, Astronomy Pavilion, the Clucky Temple, and many member-owned neighborhoods.
Comet: Home of University of There, the Botanical Gardens, snow-capped Comet Peak, and many member-owned neighborhoods.
New Kansas: Home and hearth for many member-owned neighborhoods
Tyr: Take a walk on the dark side in the mysterious Bone Yard and become king of the castle when you sit on the Templar Throne. Many glowing houses and landmarks including Lightning Canyon and Crystal Gardens. Also contains some funzones.
Saja: This place is for those of you who can't bear to be earthbound. Dance on the clouds or plummet down to visit the Bean Stalk. Neighborhoods and Funzones.
Frosty: This snowman-shaped island is for those who like to thrill while they chill. Home of Santa's workshop, funzones, neighborhoods, and the There Winter Games monuments.
Aurora: This is something of a miniature version of the lands in vMTV. Home of many paz and stationary neighborhoods. Don't miss the long highway, the penguin playground, and Limerick Rock.
Compass Island: North of Cangrejo, West of Motu Motu. Trust me, you'll know it when you see it!
